How to take care of your contact lenses!

What happens when you do not properly care for your contact lenses?

If contacts are old or not taken care of properly, they can scratch your eye. They can cause the eye to turn red, swell, along with a few other symptoms. 

How to properly care for your contacts!

1. Always clean and disinfect your contacts when removing or inserting them.
2. Always wash your hands when handling your contact lenses.
3. Always use contact lens solution.
4. Never use expired contact lenses or contact lens solution.
5. Never sleep with contact lens.
6. Do not shower or swim with contact lenses. 
7. Never use water to store your contact lenses.
8. Do not use saline solution to clean or disinfect. 
9. Use new solution each time you clean your contacts.
10. Never use contact lenses that are broken or torn. 
11. If you need to use eye drops, do not use eye drops that are not made for contact lenses. 
12. Always get your yearly eye exam!
