AMD is the most common cause of severe vision loss among people 50 and older. It is when you lose your central vision and you cannot see small details. This is because part of the retina called the macula is damaged. People are not able to drive, see faces, and read small print. Your peripheral vision is not affected.

  • Straight lines seem to be wavy
